Early Childhood (3-7yrs)
Younger Readers (8-11yrs)
Older Readers (11-15yrs)
Mature Readers (15-18yrs)
The Debbie Alvarez Picture Book Award (open to all ages)
The shortlisted titles have been selected by a panel of international school librarians, taken from a long list of books submitted by english language schools across Hong Kong. The books are chosen with a view to promote internationally-minded balanced book selections with appropriate, appealing, quality literature in each age category. The ALESS committee for the Golden Dragon Book Awards in responsible for advertising the programme and organising the voting which will take place in March 2018.
